I love sweet little boys and sweet, little, sassy girls, and these parents brought one of each. I usually only get to see these beautiful children during the rush of pick ups and drop offs, so getting to spend some time with them and their parents was such a treat. I hope you enjoy their sneak peek.

I’m blogging a little slower than usual these days, but here is the sneak peek for this sweet family. They just added a new addition to their family, and wanted some new photos of their three beautiful boys. Hope you like them!

I’m having such a great time watching this little one grow. She is so giggly and sweet, but her best smiles and giggles are when she is with her mommy and daddy. Oh and Mom actually makes these bows. They are so great for little girls.

This beautiful young lady is suppose to be 3 years old. That’s how I remember her. She is one of my sister-in-law’s best friend’s daughters (did you catch that), and I was shocked to find out that she was graduating from high school.
This shoot was a lot of fun though. First, she wanted more of an urban setting, so we found that. Secondly, she wanted graffiti, and after 3 locations, we found that Knoxville is very clean and almost void of graffiti. We found a little here and there but nothing really portrait worthy. However, I think we founds some pretty cool new locations and most importantly good light!
So, here is the sneak peek of her Senior Session.

You can’t meet Miss Maddie without falling in love. I photographed her a little over a year ago and she has left a mark on my heart ever since that cold day in December. When her mother contacted me to photograph her for Inspiration Through Art, I was so excited to see her again. To get to spend an afternoon with her is a treat…a very active treat. This little girl never stops moving or talking and thank goodness for that. She entertains me during the whole shoot with all the funny things that come out of her mouth. Her mother told me that she nurses her baby dolls under a blanket and every once in awhile, she will lift the blanket up to tell her babies not to bite. During the shoot, I wanted her to stand, sit, jump, do anything in front of these beautiful cascading flowers, so I pulled her close to me. She gave me a hug (she has amazing hugs) and I sweetly asked her to please go to the flowers, and she sweetly replied “no.” She just has a mind of her own.
I spoke briefly with her mother about Maddie’s story. Maddie was diagnosed with Turner’s Syndrome when she was born. Maddie’s first surgery was 11 days. She has complications from Turner’s Syndrome and some that aren’t typically from Turner’s Syndrome, so her mother is constantly working with specialist to make Maddie’s life better and pain free. Her mother wants people to know how amazing her daughter is. I don’t think I did her justice. You can see her beautiful big brown eyes, her beautiful smile, and a bit of the mischief in her eyes, but the way she stomps around and jumps and laughs and tells her stories, that is her pure magic.

We started shooting in Market Square and her sisters made a remark about her wearing her pearls in the alley. I thought it was a bit funny, so since I always struggle with titles, her senior portrait sneak peek is now “Pearls in the Alley.” They actually helped a lot that day. I have so many great expressions from her and since she had her sisters and her mom there, I think it made the session nice and relaxed. I don’t really have to say it, but she is drop dead, stunningly gorgeous.

I haven’t blogged very much lately. My three little ones have been keeping me busy. I’ve been spending most of my days in my car going from one activity to another. However, I knew this little guy was on his way, and I’ve been anxiously awaiting his birth. I think I checked his mother’s Facebook status everyday for two weeks. He is just perfect, and he has some amazing parents.

Mr T is 6 months old and he has the sweetest little smile. Poor little guy was sick the week before but you could not tell at all. After this little shoot, we actually went out to dinner (at crayonless restaurant) and he didn’t make a sound the whole time even though he was awake…amazing little guy. His newborn photos, if you want to see how much he has grown.
