The Photographer
My style is an updated classic look. I think I developed my style by appreciating so many different styles, but I’m always drawn to simple, clean portraiture with a little punch either with color, light or both. I take and edit the photos that I, as a mom, would want in my home.
I am a mom to 3 beautiful, amazing, funny kiddos with totally different personalities. I got into photography like many other photographers- trying to slow down my kids, trying to get every little detail documented in a photo. After delivering my first son, Max, I desperately wanted to save every moment, every smile and every smirk. Within 3 years and 3 days, my husband and I welcomed 3 beautiful children into our family. Life moves so fast around here. I waited my whole life to be a mom and it seemed to take forever, now that I am a mom, it is moving too quickly.
Each session is a relaxed and fun experience. I strive to get natural and at play photographs of you and your children. Sessions tend to last 2 hours, this allows for your children to become relaxed in their new setting and become more comfortable with me and the camera. After the session ends, I take the photos and professionally finish each appropriate image. When you view them, they are beautifully edited. I use mostly natural light. However, sometimes lighting requires a flash, and I am happy to do that as well.
