This is a huge share. I know. I keep saying I’m going to stop doing that, but with 4 beautiful children, what am I suppose to do? We met at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens last Friday night and all these gorgeous children started piling out of their mom’s car, each one as stunning as the last. I’m not sure how much they enjoyed the session, but I loved it. They were all so well behaved even with a little silly, but during a 2 hour shoot, a little bit of silly is needed and much appreciated. We’ve been trying to schedule this session for a few months. We tried in the Spring, but I think Fall shoots are the way to go in Knoxville.

Meet Miss E, Miss M and their parents. They are expecting a new sister or brother. We do not know which one, and I, for one, cannot wait to find out. I’m not good at surprises, so I’m pretty impressed with Mom and Dad for not finding out. Until then, we have these images of a beautiful family waiting for the one on the way. I think it is a boy…or a girl. It will be lucky either way to be in such an amazing family.

This is such a neat job, and I usually don’t blog much but maybe I will start. It depends on who is down for a nap, who has soccer or how much laundry I have neglected. But, I am going to blog a bit about this family. I have photographed Little Miss L’s parents a couple times now.  I must say that it is a privilege. I was there for the engagement photos where they stole glances at each other. When they came for maternity photos, they both beamed when they talked about this little girl’s arrival. Now she is here and 6 days old. She is gorgeous and beautiful and squishy sweet.

I am so excited for this couple. Can you tell how happy and in love they are? She is all smiles, and I had to include the black and white of her smiling with Adam. I know it isn’t a baby bump maternity picture, but I think it is such an accurate portrait of this expecting couple. We just did a quick minisession for them, but in a few weeks, I get to take their sweet baby girl’s portraits. I really love family portraiture, so to be able to take pictures of this family as they are just beginning…well, that just makes me very happy.

Meet Mr B. His family won the winning bid at the East TN Arthritis Foundation’s live and silent auction. Here is a sneak peek of their session.

The joke when we scheduled this shoot was that it would be the hottest day in August. I am no longer making any more jokes like that. It was the most hot and humid day I can remember. The kids were champs. I was a hot and sweaty mess and the family was beautiful. However, I was able to shoot during my favorite time of the day. I love it and I always know if I can get a family to stay late, I’m going to have amazing images. The light is always warm and beautiful, but best of all, the children really start to relax as the sun goes down. Also, I really mean to shorten my blog posts, but I love their photos so I’m sharing too many, again.

This happy little guy just turned one, and he was just perfect for his big day. Here are just a few photographs of his family during his big birthday shindig.

I think these girls were my first practice session. I’m so glad their mommy stuck with me, and hopefully she is too. I have an equally as pretty shot of the other sister and I have more family shots, but it’s a sneak peek. So, I can’t show everything. Pretty girls and I love taking their pictures.
